planning. It is used by a full range of industry professionals and is applicable
to all types of mining operations (underground, open pit, and strip mines). The
system is used for all stages of mine evaluation and development.
The 3-D graphics program
enables the mining engineer or geologist to organize, visualize, and interpret
data, as well as design mine layouts. Updated features include plotting
functions; a surface/surface intersection tool; a polygon intersection tool; a
general gridder tool; revised contouring function; fly through function;
digitizer interface; numerous CAD tools and functions including adding points to
triangulations and swapping triangles on DTM; options for wrapping underground
survey pickups; Query functions; usability features such as additional hot keys
and icons; improved pit expansion routines, including editing during expansion;
modified extruder tool that allows extrusion limited by a surface; enhanced
display of 3-D block models and gridded surface model; and enhanced display of
drillhole data.
MineSight® Compass™
This software is a MineSight® procedure processor used to set up
parameters for running modules. It contains an interface design and comes with
user definable menus. It can be run as a stand-alone program or inside MineSight®.
It supports HTML help and offers improved editing/creation of required files and
can be customized to automate repetitive tasks.
MineSight® Visualizer
This is a read-only version of MineSight® used to display 3-D
cross-sections of topography, ore bodies, mine plans, and more. It can be
tailored for any computer and linked to Microsoft® PowerPoint to create
powerful presentations and live demonstrations.
MineSight® Industrial Minerals™
This program is designed around the advanced engineering tools found within
the MineSight® interface. It comes in three increasing levels of
functionality.
- - The introductory module contains a multitude of advanced engineering and
surveying tools.
- - The intermediate module combines all the tools of the introductory module
along with additional function and planning tools.
- - The advanced module combines the first two modules and advanced detailed
scheduling functions including equipment and multiple destinations.
acQuire™
This integrated data management software program provides a central
repository for data. It operates on heterogeneous network systems and is
accessible to a wide range of project personnel. The program sports the tools to
import, export, enter, edit, and validate the collected data. It maintains data
integrity so the most current version of a data file is always available. It
provides a fully-integrated solution for both exploration/ore reserve estimation
and grade control.
DSS (Data Security System)
DSS organizes and manages data, users, and security and helps ensure the
entire mine’s data set is managed safely and efficiently. This software
provides each department in a company access to the most up-to-date information
while preventing objects from being overwritten by other users.
