Customized Courses

Short courses and hands-on computer workshops can be customized in many ways. The central idea of a customized course is to help you solve any problems you may have with using computers for technical work. In designing a customized course, you are the leader and we help you define the instruction and assistance you need.

Where and When

Courses can be held:

  • At your offices
  • At a training facility which we arrange either in Denver or a selected city
  • At a mutually agreed time

Length Course length can vary depending on your needs. Two to five days is a standard course length, but the length can be extended as needed (especially when courses are held outside North America).

Content

The course content is variable for customized courses, and you select the topics you want covered. Two types of material can be included.

- Basics. The short courses regularly offered contain a wide variety of basic information about how computers are used to analyze and present technical information. A customized course can be designed by selecting parts of the available courses and combining the parts into a single course. Most of the available courses are 2-day courses, but could be longer based on the parts selected.

- Software-speciflic. Training can be provided on software that the present list of instructors are experienced with. A list of software we are competent to train on will be provided on request. For other software packages, either contact your vendor, or we will help you find someone competent to train in those packages.

Cost The basic cost for a two-day customized course is $595 per person for up to four people. If more than four people take the course, the cost is $495 per person. This basic cost assumes that you select primarily topics covered in the standard courses. If you want other topics covered which require additional preparation, ask for an estimate.

Additional costs include a facilities charge, which changes depending on where the course is held. If you supply space and computers, there is no facilities charge. Otherwise, we will provide an estimate based on where the course will be held and facility and computer expenses.

An additional amount will be charged for travel outside the Denver area.
